I am applying to elon out of chapel hill hill(voted one ott the nations top 50 highschools in the past 5 years and ranked in the top 10 by ny times in 1999)

gpa w-3.73
un w- 3.42
my gpa and class rank are lower due to 2 Bs i recieved in ceramics and weightlifting
freshman year:
class rank 182/452
bio-A Hist-A Honors Gomatry-B spainsih I-B Eng I-A
soph- civics-A spanish II-B Chem-B Eng-A Alg II-A
jr year: Honors spanish III-B precal-B AP env. science-C US history-A honors eng III-C (my two C's were both high grades, 84s and dont reflect my performance)
Senior year (so far this quarter)
AP Statistics- A Honors Eng IV- A Honors Bio II -A
SAT Math-660 CR-540

I also work 15-20 hours a week and am involved in basketball and younglife club.

Good luck - I'd be upbeat with no need to apologize for anything. My D from Chapel Hill High is there now with a bit stronger stats but you sound like a good fit. I think that's important. CHHS is notable but you might best play up your personal strengths (extracurricular/personal interests/achievements). I'd suggest applying EA. Elon may not work for you but I'm sure there's a good opportunity out there if you're confident and optimistic (my D got comfortable with NC State as a back-up).
