Elon has been drawing off its waitlist since at least 3 weeks ago. A young woman up this way who had been waitlisted was contacted during the first or second week of April with an offer of admission.

Wow - that's another round of bad news for the kids that were hopeful for Elon. Interesting process. What happens to B and C students with all these A kids getting rejected at schools? On or two bad semesters and a kid has no shot.
