I have some questions about the Fellows program. Is it something you need to apply for each year? What if you are unsure of what your major would be end up being?

Anyone with experience of knowledge about these programs- please comment.

My S will be a Elon Fellow next year. You do need to maintain a certain GPA to stay in the program but I don't know if it's the same GPA for everyone in every fellows program. I don't think most fellows have a problem with the GPA because it's competitive to get in.

There are 6 fellows programs and 3 are major specific (Business, Communications, and Teaching) I would imagine that if you transfered your major out of a major specific fellows program then you couldn't stay in that fellows program.

If you are unsure of your commitment to a major than you might want to compete for one of the non-major specific fellows programs (Leadership, Honors, and Elon College)
