Does Elon admissions notify people of acceptance by Phone ever?

I heard that last year some people got their decisions before December 1st (ED) because there admissions councilor called. Online they said they don't call though. Should I get my hopes up, or just wait till dec 1st?

I think a phone call regarding whether an applicant is admitted would be the exception rather than the norm. I would not get my hopes up for a call. I believe they post their decisons on their web site at a certain date and time. D applied EA and was informed that decisions would be posted on December 18th. Good luck, I know how much you love Elon.

No but they will post your acceptance online early sometimes. A whole bunch of ED people last year found out around thanksgiving; 2 weeks early or so

My D recieved a call form her admissions cslr the night before Thanskgiving last year to tell her she was admitted! It was a great start to our holiday!
