| Emerson's Fly-In Program
hi guys. this is actually my first post ever even though i am on this site more than facebook. lol i am currently a senior and recieved an invitation to apply for the chance to be one of the 30 students selected to fly-in to emerson for the weekend w/ travel expenses and hotel accomodations paid in full. Since Emerson is my top choice, I definitely am taking advantage of the amazing opportunity, but I was just wondering if anyone else got this letter, or if anyone has done the Fly-In Program, and their opinion of the weekend?

THTkiller9: If you go to the Common application site and click on the Supplement for Emerson, you will get the essay prompts.
Generally speaking, it is best to use College confidential to find out information or opinions are that not readily available on the schools' sites.

I cross posted with you, THTkiller. I don't know what "D" is. However, I know the short essay questions on Emerson's Supplement. To be nice, here they are but please don't ask about other essay prompts here and just look them up: Quote:
Short Answer A: As you know, the academic programs at Emerson College are focused on communication and the arts. Please tell us what influenced you to select your first choice major and, if applicable, your second choice major. If you’re undecided about your major, what attracted you to Emerson’s programs? Please be brief (100-200 words).
Short Answer B: We understand that the college application process often feels stressful, when it should be an opportunity for self-reflection. Stop worrying for a minute and have fun with this response: Much of the work that students do at Emerson college is a form of storytelling. If you were to write the story of your life until now, what would you title it? Why? Please be brief (100-200 words)

It actually happened mid-November.
I was able to audition while I was there, and I enjoyed the weekend very much.
