My DD is still working on the Emerson app so she doesn't have access to StageDoor. For those with access or past experience is there a special arts recommendation required that is sent to the theatre dept.??

How many recs did everyone send in with the common application? They only require one teacher and one counselor but I'm guessing people send more?

I was told most colleges do NOT want more recs than required and often do not bother to read them. They have too many. It MAY have even been the Emerson guy who I heard that from. Put your efforts elsewhere. You will benefit more from good essays. Stagedoor did not ask for an extra rec that I could find.
