Newbie

So I'm new to CC but definitely not a stranger to Emerson. I submitted my early application on Halloween, the day I visited the campus! It's my first choice school and I am holding my breath rather impatiently in anticipation of December 15th!

Does anyone know if we receive word via e-mail or regular mail?

Just thought I would introduce myself to you all and I hope we'll be future classmates!

Hey Kelsey! I'm Natalie

Emerson is definitely one of my top schools. I haven't had the pleasure of visiting it, but I literally fell in love with the school after attending an info session on October 1 in San Francisco. The Writing, Lit, Publishing/Journalism double major is perfect for what I want to do.

What's your intended major?

Good luck on December 15!! (sorry, I don't know how applicants will be notified, but I'd assume it'd be both ways)

My intended major is Marketing Communications. I fell in love with their program after visiting and seeing all the amazing high-tech and cutting edge resources they had.

Thanks for the feedback; I'm definitely planning on checking both snail-mail and e-mail like crazy on the 15th! My best friend finds out from Georgetown on the same day so we've vowed to call each other immediately upon finding out either way!

they send out letters, so you probably won't actually KNOW until the 20th or something, and don't bother calling because from what i heard they won't tell you.

I got in. But my friend didn't. They're BOTH big envelopes. Which is quite dumb. It's like you got in YAY! Or you didn't get in, but you can think you did for like 10 seconds.

That's wild that they are both big. Are you sure the friend didn't get referred, because then it may make sense for it to be big too, but a simple rejection letter being huge is stupid.

Well, maybe I'll see you there. Gotta find out from NYU... Eh.
