| ^^^ Hey I think this thread is pretty much dead now, there hasnt been a post in 4 mo. Are you an ED applicant or just looking at the school for now?..... Also, if you are Ed, are you as nervous as the rest of us or what? .... if you are then there is only 4 more days!.. Good luck either way |

| Haha, I wonder if it'd be obnoxious for us to just have a conversation in this thread? I'm up late at school working on a Yearbook deadline and thinking about Emory (saw it, like I said, and REALLY hoping I go), so ended up reading all the posts in the Emory forum...and I ran out...so I read this. No, I'm regular decision, because when I applied, I hadn't decided for sure where I wanted to go...and I still don't really KNOW, especially since I'm pretty sure I'll get in. I AM waiting for emory scholars stuff...in January.
But after reading stuff that people say here, it makes me both not so sure about scholarships and not so sure about getting in! Being confident will probably kick me in the butt. =) |

| I have Yearbook deadlines that are due Fri. and I'm sooo far from finished. I'm studying late tonight for an AP Bio and Brit. Lit test tomorrow. Wooo, procrastinators unite!!
(Offtopic, I know, but does your school use Yearbook Avenue, Pagemaker, or Indesign? We had Indesign last year but we switched over to YAvenue, and it makes life so friggin' much easier. I barely stay after school anymore since I can work on my pages at home now).
Shoot, I'll be lucky if I get in. If it wasn't for my SAT score, I'd give Scholars a go but yeeah. Emory's a reach for me. |

| I have a bunch of biology stuff to do...but they're not immediately due so I think I'll just put it off till tomorrow so I can catch up on sleep. I think you guys would agree, but I really can't wait until the break! It seems that this next 1.5 weeks is jampacked with projects, tests, midterms, and papers!
And Mika, for your question, we use InDesign. I've never heard of what you use...we used Pagemaker my sophomore year...but switched over last year. What company are you with? Yeah our deadline is supposedly this week...but Walsworth hasn't sent us our senior picture panels yet! And the senior section is on this deadline! Aiyaaaaa, haha. 'Neways...I feel like stress is just abounding. Good luck with your deadline! Hopefully we'll all come out of this alive...though my coeditor may not. I'm about to strangle her because she doesn't do ANYTHING, but likes to flounce her title around and act important. Grr D:<
Oh, and I'm not so sure I should be so confident about getting in anymore! My stats are in their upper 25%...but there are people on here with those stats who express concern about acceptance...which kind of scares me a bit. Hope you get in! =) |
