I see that many cc'ers have been accepted to Emory ED (including me ) and would like to congratulate all the well-deserving applicants who have been accepted. Also, this thread could help our new class get to know each other better and connect the soon-to-be Emory freshmen (either through cc or facebook).
There is another 2013 group with more members but the creators of that group are shady figures. The admin of that group is apparently part of a national crime syndicate that plans to take over the world by camping and taking control of every "(College) Class of (year)" group possible. Over 1,000,000 freshmen students will be effected and I cannot sit here and let these punks profit off us. Luckily, our class was tipped off early enough for us to form another group that WILL NOT be a part of any diabolic schemes. Details of it can be found here There’s something going down on Facebook. Pay attention. | SquaredPeg
Haha, I was waiting for you to make the first post in this forum too siri!
Anyways, I second everything that megasupa said, even with the exaggeration loll.
But seriously, something is up with those guys..so just keep your eyes open..
Congrats EDI acceptees & happy holidays...stay safe & enjoy your break .
lol yeah that's a nice way of putting it megasupa... and I laughed when I saw the conversation between paradycia and the admin of the fake group on facebook. And yeah, this fourm was empty and just waiting for someone to post, so I figured I might as well lol. But keep this forum and this thread alive...
Anyway, have an amazing break and I wish you all the best for 2009 (and I hope to meet you all at Emory)!
yeah gasaway don't pull out the race card lol. there are plenty of people (white and not) that qualify, so maybe think about the fact that other Scholars applicants are probably just more qualified than you.
it was a MERIT scholarship and trust me i saw some stats from admitted students last year and this year and they are on the very top! like 2150 and higher in sat and 33 and higher in act.. my D has nice stats too but it was not enough to get selected!!! now i hope her stats will be enough to get accepted at EMORY in RD in March!!
