From what I heard from the counselor that gave us a tour, they're taking longer this year because there is a new Dean of admission and they're trying to incorporate how things will work out under his lead.

Got some bad news. Called up the admissions office, and they ARE going to the waitlist, but they will only be taking 40-50 out of 1900.

Whoa this is bad news, but at least better than Georgia Tech as it doesn't take anyone off wait-list this year. Good luck guys !!

To the people who got off waitlist, what did you do? Was there anything you added to your application since you were waitlisted? Did you often contact the admissions office (but not to the annoyance stage?)

I got an email from Emory today and I almost had a heart attack. I thought that I was actually accepted off of the waitlist. Turned out to be an email about FA.

excited 23, i spoke to an admissions counselor. It's May 14th, they should probably know by now how many they will be taking. I am surprised people haven't started hearing yet.

I wonder if Oxford is taking any students off the waitlist. Growing very discouraged though.

I think the Oxford situation will be a bit murky this year, so better to be patient for a while.
