just found out my health insurance in ny won't cover me in atlanta.
any alternative for health insurance at emory? or should i stick with the premium 2545 a year emory plan?

I do not know why it is so expensive. My D goes to college in Massachusetts and hers is only $1200. We are fortunate our plan does cover ATL. Good luck finding alternatives!

I would look around for other options; you still have until mid-late august to file a health insurance waiver form.


As for the EUHS Aetna plan its great: free primary care visits, $25 copay for specialists and most diagnostic tests (CAT, MRI, etc) are covered 100%. You pay for what you get.
