Please Chance me- Emory ED 1

White-Persian
Rising Senior
class rank: 1/roughly 350 (NOT a competitive public high school)

UW: Not sure but to give an idea I have only gotten 1 B my entire high school career, the rest A's. High 3.9 maybe?
W: 4.522

Basically all AP and Honors classes. 14 AP classes by the end of senior year
AP Scores: Horrendous, not reporting

Senior Year Course Load: Team Sports (lol)
AP Calc AB
Mentorship (helping out with guidance and whatnot- total bs class)
AP Lit
AP Chem
AP Econ
Ap Gov
H French V ( Our school couldn't afford to have a separate AP french class- public funding :/)
Geographic: Atlanta--40 mins away from Emory

SAT: 1880 (didn't study, won't send)
ACT: 31, writing - 9 (second sitting, first try was a 27 lol )

SAT II: 610 Math II ( didn't study, won't send)

Student Government since 9th, current Executive Vice President
National Honor Society since 11th, HOPEFULLY will be Executive Vice President
4 year varsity letter soccer( we were region champions two years in a row so we are pretty good)
Competitive club soccer since 7th grade
Referee for local soccer games since 9th
Ping Pong founder 10th, current President
Recycling club founder 11th, current President
MUN since freshmen year
Beta since 11th
French National Honor Society since 9th
Academic Decathlon Team Freshmen year (only 5 freshmen chosen out of entire class)

No noteworthy awards, not much of a winner tbh (we can't all be charlie sheen)
However: Varsity Soccer Academic Award (highest GPA)
AP Scholar (Took so many ap exams i was bound to pass at least 3 of them haha)

Have shown a lot of demonstrated interest. Attended information sessions at our school, signed up for their mailing list, visited campus twice, all that good stuff...

Recs: Counselor Rec: Will be phenomenal
Teacher Recs: Probably good, not great
Essays: Probably good, but not great

Please give me your honest opinion guys. I don't wish to be fed false ideas. Thank you so much

Also I forgot to mention this but I was in a selective 1 week summer program with the Atlanta Community Foodbank to help feed the poor.

Everything looks good, but you should probably consider taking the SAT again.

I'm not sure how an admissions committee would view your app. "Horrendous AP scores" undercuts your GPA and raises questions.

An 18xx on the SAT I is not impressive, but if you don't send the score your app will be incomplete and unfortunately not reviewable at most colleges.

However, there are a number of colleges that do not require the SAT. Use your guidance counsellor or reference librarian to find a list of them.

Emory has no preference between ACT and SAT, therefore i wont send the SAT. With that being said, what are my chances?

This is wrong. You can send ACT scores instead of SAT.

I'd say that you have a great chance of getting in with your rank, ec, and rigorous course work but only with good recs and amazing essays.
