This sounds kind of suspicious, and I hope it isn't a joke. Don't colleges usually post decisions at 5 pm or later? Can anyone confirm?

I checked Emory's admissions page and it still says the same, by April 1st.....For EDI, the admissions page changed when they found out that decisions were coming out at a different time....If anything, I would think it would be NEXT Saturday, not this one....who knows? Anyone else get it?

WHAT?????? I didn't get it . I wouldn't be surprised, however, as all the prior decisions were released on a saturday morning.

sry! my mum made me get some pizza!

here's the email:

The Office of Admission at Emory University is completing its review of the Regular Decision candidates. Your decision will be mailed on March 22, 2008, via U.S. Postal Service. Additionally, we are excited to announce that we will be releasing decisions online, via the OPUS system. Your decision will be posted by 8:00 am on Saturday, March 22. Please note that decisions will be available to view online until April 5.

To check your admission decision online:

1. Sign on to your OPUS account

2. On the "Learner Services" main page, click the "Admissions" link

3. You will find the link to "View Your Decision Letter" in the "Next Steps" section

Once you have checked your decision online, please visit our Decision Information pages to learn more about your specific decision.

If you have not yet registered for a user name and password, you will need to do so in order to check your decision online. You'll be asked for your birth date and social security number. If you don't have a social security number on file with our office, you will be able to access your user name and password using your email address. If you have any difficulty, please call Emory's I.T. Help Desk at 404-727-7777 for information on how to proceed.

We understand this can be an anxious time and we thank you for your interest in Emory.

Best wishes,

Office of Undergraduate Admission

Simone: and, up front, this isn't meant to be mean, but according to the threads from last year, there were some people who did receive their acceptances early, but they were all minorities.....Is that the case for you? If so, good luck and let us know how it goes tomorrow morning....Hopefully we will be joining you next week!!!

If not, you must be accepted b/c none of us got the e-mail......

lol sorry for mistrusting you, sometimes trolls like to come on and purposely freak people out. Usually in the past Emory decisions are some of the last to come out, so that was why I was a little skeptical. The decisions at 8am are also kind of random.
