Emory vs. Vandy

I know I'm invoking a torrent of hellfire and brimstone with this thread, but I really need help because I can't decide. I live in West TN and I know a lot about Vandy, but I'm not too knowledgeable about Emory. I want to major in Business/Engineering (I want to go into IB (I know its hard)). So, what are my chances of achieving that at either school? And overall, which would be a better school in terms of the "experience"? Also, socially, I need some occasional sanity, from what I can see, both schools can be pretty heavily party-oriented, so am I just doomed? Also, I heard from a friend that the chicks at Emory were incredibly hot, but the ratings, alas, seem to say otherwise, so whom should I believe? (It won't really affect my decision, but I'm still curious )

Don't mean to sound harsh, but instead of starting this same thread in several places, might I suggest that you do a "search" on cc and find the multiple discussions that have already occurred on this topic?

BUT I do know, that if you're just going to base your decision on looks then go to Vandy, because apparently the girls there are all gorgeous!

TN hope scholarship

Are you willing to forfeit the lottery scholarship by going to Emory instead of Vanderbilt? That can add up to around $20,000 over 4 years!

actually is 16000.00 for four years....

first, it depends on the financial aid....
second...
Emory=more liberal.....Vandy= more conservative
Emory= less well known due to a lack of sports
For business: Emory is definitely better
For Engineer: Vandy is definitely better....
