yeah I got an email about it..I'm not sure if I want to apply because it does seem a little intense..and I don't want to be that overwhelmed Freshman year..but I don't know, do you know anything more about it?
I'm in the prorgram and it has been amazing. The first year is great and you have a group of friends as soon as you get there. Plus Dean Ram is amazing and it helps a lot to be close with a Dean. As a result off being in INSPIRE I've meet President Carter, finished all my pre-med requirements in two years, and have gone on some awesome camping trips. There is no down side.
SEWcurious - how different is it from the usual premed workload? Is it a lot more work? Is it competitive within INSPIRE? Did you immediately jump into research freshman year? Could you specifically name opportunities you had as a freshman/sophomore that other people not in INSPIRE could not take advantage of?
