Oxford Dorms

Does anyone know anything about the Dorms at Oxford?
Which one's are better, which ones have single rooms, I'll be a transfer student so I think I have the same privlages as the other sophmores. Any info (inside-esp.) would really help, thanks!

actually,
if you would go to their website....
there are three dorms available for incoming freshmen:
JRC, Haygood, and "New Residence".
The first two are old and nasty.
The latter of the three is the new dorm that will open this fall. However, I'm not sure how the selection process will be for these dorms. I'm almost sure that it's not based on seniority nor scholar-status. It might be one of those dreadful chance games.
....But....when you apply for housing, you CAN specify what "type" of room you want, which can indirectly-maybe-yes-maybe-no allow you to then specify which dorm residence you want. Because the styles of room and gender distribution is different for all three residences.
Ok, byeee
