Initiated?

Hey I applied to Emory and they mailed me my OPUS login but when I log in it says my counselor rec, transcripts, and nomination forms for Emory Scholars are initiated. What does this mean exactly, I know my counselor uploaded my transcripts and recs on the Common App and I know she mailed in my Emory Scholars nomination form?

As I understand it, sometimes there is a time lag between uploading the documents by high schools and downloading by college admissions office assistants during the busy season. When the college downloads, OPUS changes from "initiated" to "completed." I might wait awhile, but after a couple of weeks, or if a deadline is approaching, you might want to call or email the admissions office about this to make sure something didn't get lost in transit.

I sent all my stuff in on October 1st and all my initiated were changed to completed as fast as light. But that was back in October...

So, yes, now that it's busy season there will be more lags. This is also posted on their website.
