Emory Opportunity Award

I have a 10k Emory Opportunity Award listed on my financial aid page and I'm not sure if it is considered merit or need based aid. I can't seem to find any information on the Emory website.

Does anyone know what it is?

My dad called and apparently it is considered to be merit aid. It isn't on the website because it is a brand new program. It is a 4-year scholarship with absolutely no strings attached or requirements.

So I got 15k per year in this Opportunity award, but no need-based aid. As it isn't on the website I can't do any actual research, but I'm guessing that perhaps Opportunity and Advantage are exclusive as my family easily falls into the <100k per year bracket. Any way to confirm/deny this? Thanks in advance.
