I graduated from a top ten architecture school (Pratt) in nyc, since there are no jobs in architecture I am very interested in Aerospace Eng. So, what schools have excellent reputation where I can apply and get in? I checked Texas A & M and they have a message on their website that post-bacc peeps are not the priority. :/
I am willing to relocate, money is not an issue as long as I can get scholarships and/or loans. I have like a 2.99 gpa. (That's actually pretty good for where i went to, it's tough and I did my degree in 4 years instead of the regular 5... a lot of people do it in 6) Any replies are welcome! Oh! I also did architecture pre-college at harvard....

Since you have completed an UG degree, you are not considered a transfer student.

That's not necessarily true. It depends on the school. I know that NYU Poly lets people who already have a bachelor's looking to get a second one in engineering apply as transfers.

Do you have good grades in your math classes? Engineering schools are sure to look at that.

Try looking for a Masters program. You'll probably take 3 years, but it'll give you a more thorough base of knowledge and you won't have to retake any of the less desirable classes.

Would it make more sense for you to look into Civil Engineering due to your background in Architecture? Civil Engineering is much more related to what you have studied. There are also more job opportunities in Civil than Aerospace.

I agree with the previous poster. It makes a lot more sense for you to consider masters programs. Perhaps, you may want to look into the MS in Civil Engineering programs.

To get into a CE program, you'd have to make up a LOT of undergrad engineering courses. Even if you learned how to look up beam sizes in steel tables, you have a lot to learn (to put it mildly).
