Chemical Engineers: Biochemical, or Nanotechnological?

My school offers two emphasis in Chemical Engineering. One is the Biochemical emphasis, another one is the Nanotechnological emphasis. I am still deciding between these two. Which one would be more useful in the field of chemical engineering in the future?

The Biochemical emphasis requires a few biology classes, in addition to about one or two Biomedical and Biochemical engineering class. The Nano emphasis requires 4 to 5 more Nano E classes, along with the basic Chem E classes.

One of the cons of the Bio emphasis is that if i pick this emphasis, then I would have to compete with the pre-meds, which is something that I would like to avoid.

Which one would you guys pick?

What are you compering for with the premeds?
No one knows for sure where job prospects will go. It's pretty hard to give you a good answer.

For the grades. There are always lots of premeds in the biology classes at my school. I would not like to compete with them since competing with them is not a wise choice for me. I cannot risk it.
