Hi, sorry for barging in. However, I have a question!
SO I am thinking of MEch(BSE) but sometimes think of changing it to EE. The thing that I want to ask, is it recommended to go get a job (entry level) upon graduation and have a work experience and then go back for an MBA ?(if the employee is generous, would he pay for just a normal MBA degree or could he finance a TOP MBA program)!
Second, how about Masters. Is it useless? Isn't it true that it is harder to find a jib in Eng with only a BSE? And are there good financial aid offers to finance the Masters ?
Does being an international student affects the answers of any of the above questions(finaid especially).
Oh and I am a freshmen next year in a TOP school.

Yes. Very few companies will hire someone with an MBA and no experience. After all, how would you like it if you worked at a company for 10 years in a technical position and suddenly they bring in some kid with zero experience and an MBA to lead your team? It just doesn't make sense.

Of course it isn't useless. It also isn't generally any harder to find a job with just a BS than it is with an MS, but the MS people will generally start off with roughly $10,000 more per year in salary (though they generally start working a year or two later as well, so it balances). There are also some jobs that effectively require an MS.

That depends entirely on the school. Some schools have the kind of money that most MS students are funded, and some, by policy, don't fund any MS students. You just have to look around.

No. The only thing it could affect is if the funding source is contingent on you being a US citizen, which isn't common.
