Valero Energy vs. Flint Hills Resources

I have interview offers with both Flint Hills Resources and Valero Energy on the same day. One of which is in Pine Bend, Minnesota for the second round of interviews. It would be impossible to attend both. Which one should I go for? Both are in the same industry, Valero being the larger of the two.

I want only comparisons of the two companies as there is no option to interview with both. Both are very structured and have this date set out for potential candidates.

We can't make this decision for you. Choose based on your interviews, location, pay, etc... which would YOU rather work for?

You want us to compare random companies for you? Your best bet would be to go to glassdoor and look at employee interview/experiences/salaries of the two... and then make that decision based on which one you think you have the best bet of obtaining.

Obviously, the decision would not be solely made by your comments, it would merely add to the discussion. I was hoping to hear some personal experiences with either company that is of interest. As for which company I want to work for; this is a difficult question to answer with confidence since I have no experience with either. Sorry for the miscommunication there.

Obviously, this is why I guided you to glassdoor.com. Here are 41 reviews of Valero: Valero Energy Reviews | Glassdoor

You can also search for flint hills (or any other company) through this site.
