Nuclear Engineering!!!

I want to major on Nuclear Engineering. However, a few schools offer this major. I'm applying to UC Berkeley and Georgia Tech for Nuclear Engineering. I want to know which major should I do so I can study Nuclear Engineering on Graduate School. I'm planning on doing either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Which one is related to Nuclear Engineering?

From my understanding is usually Mechanical. If you look at the nuclear engineer wikipedia it actually lists all the schools that have it as a major. Very few have it undergrad. Alot of schools have it for masters programs. Depends on what you want to do. We actually got to talk to a nuclear engineering grad student at berkeley it was very interesting.

So it's better to do Mechanical If I don't get accepted in a Nuclear Engineering Program? Do you know If Nuclear Engineering is an impacted major?

We have a really great program here at NC State, and we have our own reactor. Our Nuclear undergrad and grad program is actually ranked higher than GT, it is like 6th or 7th in the nation.
