Difference between "Industrial Engineering" and "Industrial and Systems Engineering?"

Well, I know they overlap in many areas. But what is the difference between them? Is one better than the other? Does one have a higher potential in salary? Is one broader?

Largely these undergrad programs are considered the same between those two choices. Some uni's offer one, some the other. I am in the Industrial and systems program at NC State, its pretty good. You may want to compare its curriculum to whichever Industrial only program you are looking at to see how they differ.
