What is engineering like? Should I take it?

I really don't know what major I'll take in college and I thought of business but now that I think of it it sounds sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring.
And I like computers a lot so I was thinking about majoring in computer engineering, although I hate having my life be run by someone else's creation (Bill Gates).

Anyway, I know engineering is one of the mathematical and difficult majors but I heard you get paid good money in the end so I figured why not, after all I AM good in math. I just get side-tracked easily.

To the point
Do you guys truly enjoy engineering and what does engineering consist of?
And out of the sub-classes of engineering (civil, chemical, computer etc...) Which do you personally think is the most fun and which is the highest paying?

Thank you!
