mechanics and electronics

Hello I have some difficulty between choosing between mechanical or electronics engineering. So I have some questions:
-Which kind of mechanics can be found in electronics engineering?
-Is it most math in EE or ME, maybe you can explain some of the different math, and how it is used in the different fields?
-Where are the oppurtunities for plain office work biggest?
-Where are the research oppurtunities biggest?

1. Mechanics of materials, perhaps. Who knows, maybe even statics. I'm really just guessing...
2. EE curricula usually require lots of advanced math, beyond what most ME curricula do. In fact, EE is perhaps the most math-intensive engineering major (excluding IE and CS). EE deals in analysis... vector analysis, numerical analysis, etc. You'll probably also do some discrete math, such as boolean algebra or graph theory.
3. Probably EE. But I suppose it depends.
4. No idea... but perhaps ME, as I've heard a lot about robots recently.
