| Accounting/i-banking: Engineering or nonengineering? I'd like to go into one of the more mathematically involved business fields when I graduate, possibly accounting, or if I were lucky, i-banking.
I was wondering how much a difference for me to major in an engineering major or a non-engineering business major (AEM, economics.)
Also, what major in engineering would best prepare me for working in business or getting a MBA?
I've always been a science person and would like to study something related to the science. However, I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle and pain to go through engineering if I wanted to work on Wall Street eventually and not very interested in doing research. How valuable does engineering really make you for such careers?
Thanks! |
