Does anybody know if the homework, projects, tests, labs, etc. are just as intense for, lets say, the top twenty ranked universities?
I'm trying to figure out if only because a school is ranked higher than another, means more will be expected from the student in terms of work load.
I'm guessing one difference is the curve for the higher rank schools is less than the lower ranked ones.

The workload will probably be similar among the top 20 schools. The competition you will have, however, will be different (some will be more intense, while others might be albeit more laid back).

Does anyone have any recommendations for schools that have really good pre-college summer programs in ME/MAE that are not only interesting, but fun as well???

| Not only is Rowan on the list, but Rowan is on the list allot. My son applied to and was accepted at Rutgers U. Del, TCNJ, NJIT, Stevens. Lafayette and Rowan. We toured them all and he chose Rowan for their program, facilities and faculty. Everything is brand new. No TA's. Exclusive focus on under grads. And all at a price that allowed him to grad debt free. He's been happy with his decision since day one.
