| Perhaps OP was talking about the option to pursue graduate studies at the undergrad institution, but not committed to it. The school would accept you, but you don't have to attend if you decide you don't want to. If this is what OP is talking about, I don't understand why a school would make such a ridiculous offer. How can you determine if a student is right for grad studies when all you have to go by is the high school records?!
If you're in high school right now, it's too early to even think about grad schools, especially since you probably don't have a clue as to what area of your major you want to study in depth. And that's assuming you don't change majors, which is quite common. |
