Can you get a job with a Masters in Biomedical Engineering
I've heard that its almost impossible to get a job after graduating from undergrad if you major in biomedical engineering, but if I do my masters right after my bachelors, is there a job market?
Hard yes, impossible no, usually if u concentrate on something at a top school u should be fine, but just because u major in BME doesn't mean u will get a BME job, ur engineering education should be broad enough to work in many fields and specific enough to work in specific part of one field.
Joe has good advice. S did ME and worked on "monkey hand" as undergrad, a bio related mouse as grad student and now doing something with an eye clinic in India as a post MS CS intern. Odd thing is that he really doesn't like biology and rather do design work.
