Industrial Engineering vs. Construction Management
Is there really any difference with the two?
My friend who is going to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obsipo in California was telling me about Construction Management and it sounded really interesting and I wanted to look it up for Berkeley but I couldn't find it but i found IE...are they closely related?
The only similarity between the two is that they both lead to management-like positions. If you want to go into the construction management field, then I suggest majoring in civil engineering since that's the closest (some say that CM is a concentration within civil engineering).
