| I think a lot of the people who quit are the ones that don't know what they're in for and have misconceptions about the field. If you're disciplined you will have no problem getting a degree in engineering. Look into the field, visit schools and check out their departments. As far as going for your doctorate, generally what happens is you get a research assitantship with a professor and in return you get your tuition waved and you are given enough money to live on. So you don't really have to worrying about paying for grad school, just undergrad. |
