Im majoring in Electrical/computer engineering.
I think I would finish my first degree in 2 years and a half. My GPA is quite low about 3.0 right now and I haven't taken any upper division courses( I have done all the supporting courses and General Education). I hope I could pull up

I would like to ask In order to get a job like in Silicon Valley or any big companies like Microsoft, Sony, Intel, Apple.... How high GPA do u need to get?

Also Im planning to get in to apply for grad school( MS engineering or MBA) after getting my engineering degree.

Which school do u guys recommend me to apply in order to get admitted in case I only have 3.0 at the time I graduated ( I think I have no chance for top school like MIT, Cal Tech, UCBerkley, etc....). I want a known school .
Also what should I need to prepare before I apply.

You're thinking about this waaay too early. You haven't even taken courses in your major yet, so you probably don't even know what areas of ECE you're interested in pursuing your MS in. Not every school offers everything, so I don't think anyone can give you good advice at this point. Just relax and enjoy college!

As ken285 says--RELAX! You have plenty of time to learn and grow.

Typically your GPA is key for graduate school admission. Since you are an engineer, the GRE will be no problem (even if you bomb the Verbal, it is expected--you are an engineer). I'd recommend that you become involved with a professor that shares your research interest (helps with grad school essay) and do everything possible to boost that GPA up!

Top schools typically need a 3.8+ GPA

Even 20-30 rank schools kind of need around 3.5 to get in.. especially in EECS which is highly competitive.
