Aerospace Engineering - OR - Computer Science (Software Engineering)

I'm in high school right now and am interested in pursuing either or of the two majors later in college. I love them both, but I prefer computer science because I am interested in cloud computing and working for Google but right now, it is very difficult to find classes or places that teach C++, Java, etc. or any other languages in my area and I don't want to end up dropping computer science in college because of the lack of experience. And with regards to aerospace engineering, I am afraid there might not be that many opportunities for getting a job because aerospace relies on government contracts and the government clearly has no money to fund anything. I also have a bit of fear for learning computer science...C++ is a BEAST...aerospace engineering seems easier but eh. I really am confused. Help please?

I suggest you take engineering phsyics 1 mechanics which is usually needed for both disciplines and take the first programming class which is also needed in some form or another for both at your school. Then decide which you like best.

It really depends on the type of mind you have. I feel CS is a harder discipline to master than mechanics based engineering mainly because the fundamentals are much larger and are ever changing.
