Youth Group Leader all four years- helped kids read, write, and speak Punjabi, very involved in organizing cultural shows and events
One award from Freshman year for outstanding community and school achievements.

Essays, according to the people that read them, are great :)

*OTHER:*
Family problems were going on around during the beginning of my sophomore year, have tried to make up for it. This is what one of my essays is about. 
Upward curve in grades
Sophmore year- 3.17 and 3.5
Junior year- 3.7 and 4.16 [on B+ 89% :( ]

And, I live in a pretty crappy town lol. Our school's avg. SAT score is like 1400 and we live in a very low-income area of central california. Our town was declared the drug capital of the world a few years back and has the third highest teen pregnancy rate in the US.
