My girlfriend is a senior and is failing AP chemistry. She hasn't been doing badly before this year, but senioritis completely destroyed her this year. I'm sure this wont happen again in the second semester, but I just wanted to know what the consequences are when something like this happens. She's never gotten an F in her life, and i have no experience with F's myself. I really want to comfort her or at least be able to tell her straight up what happens when you get an F in the first semester of senior year. Could someone please inform me how exactly an F effects one's chances at UCSD? thanks. :/

I was just wondering if any of you have taken PHIL 14 with Callender or COGS 11 with Boyle? I am just taking one of these classes for fun (it won't satisfy my GE's or major requirements) and for units, so I wanted to make sure I choose the more interesting (and a little easier) one. I appreciate any input. Thanks!

My mom has heard from several people from UCSD that they loved that school. However, all of those people were in Muir College. But I really want to apply to Revelle College. Can anyone help me in outlining the pros and cons of both College, Muir and Revelle? I would like to know the rigor of the courses, personal sleeping patterns, housing quarters, and percentage of students that do sports from both Muir and Revelle. Thanks to anyone who gives a reply. :)

So is anyone from UCSD going to UCLA to protest?

I dont know if all of you are informed, but the UC Board of Regents are voted yesterday to raise the price of tuition by 32 percent. This makes you wonder whether we are still a public university. So I just wanted to know if there are any fellow Tritons that are going to UCLA to protest against the fee hike?
