Internationals Eligible for Scholarships?

Hi,

I wanted to know if international students are eligible for merit based scholarships such as the Regents scholarship. Would I need to provide any additional info?

For now, the only scholarship I've put down is the course based scholarship (engineering). Would this refer to the regents scholarship, or do I need to take another route to apply for that?

Thanks

Time clash for PH 116 Lec and BIO 1AL Lec

So PH 116 is M 4-6 and BIO 1AL Lec is M 5-6:30 and clash but I really want to take both in Spring. I am number 242 on the waitlist for PH 116 right now and I heard lecture is mandatory to pass the class.

So, Would I be fine never going to BIO 1AL Lec and just webcasting all the lectures instead so I can attend the PH 116 Lecs or do you actually take your midterms/lab exams for BIO 1AL during the 5-6:30 slot, meaning a time clash would not be advisable?

Your comments are greatly appreciated :)

Students Seize Wheeler Hall

DD says this happened last night, the students are still in the building, it is surrounded by protesters and heavy police presence. No one is allowed in the building. It's the biggest lecture hall on campus. Masked students are yelling to the crowd outside and stating they are nonviolent protestors, urging people to go to ebay.org (which takes me to ebay.com) to see "what they did to us last night."

The application & internationals..

So, I just found out that the UC application actually REQUIRES me to self-report my grades; the thing is, I really don't have the grades (and so can't enter them)...

Is there any way I can just skip this and have the school send the official thing? It would be difficult for me to even get my grades, let alone enter them all...

Also, the application requires 1 year of VPA; the problem is my school doesn't offer anything of the sort beyond the 8th grade. Should I just give up on the application or e-mail them?
