Singapore Scholarship Pros & Cons

Hi,

I am a Singaporean thinking of whether to take up a scholarship to fund my overseas undergraduate studies (currently applying to colleges). However, the scholarship comes up with a 6 years bond which is potentially stifling, as in no escape route (or comes with $$$) if you do not like the job scope. There has been many horror stories so I will like to find out more. Yet, I am not sure if I will be able to earn back the 300k if I loan from the bank to fund my studies.

Can any Singaporean discuss his or her considerations before coming to college and how are the prospects of getting a job (& remuneration) like in the US for internationals upon graduation. Also, how does the environment of working/studying in the US compare to Singapore? The worst scenario is to get saddled with a study loan of 300k++ without being able to work in US where the payscale is higher in Singapore to be able to pay back.

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

Okay, my title is weird but anyhow. In Common Application in Final Report section they only give me 3 column for semesters and trimesters. What do I do because my school year has been divided into 5 'blocks'. How would I fill this section in this case and where should I explain this? Or should I explain this?

Question concerning foreign final report

So, I'm applying from Finland and my final report is in a form that it shows the subject, for example, Math, number or courses taken and the grade. It does not show all the different courses I've taken, only the name of the subject. The number of classes taken is marked by a number. In my case this is 10. Then it gives my final grade in Math (that is the average of all 10 classes taken). My school does not provide me with a report card in which all of those subjects would have been ''opened'' to show every single class taken (for example in Math: geometry, analytical geometry, functions, integrals, etc.). Should I submit only this final report or should I make an additional report card on my own and get it signed by my principal?

Example how it is now:

Mathematics (high level) - courses taken 10 - grade: 9

Example how it could be made:

Mathematics (high level) - grade 9
-Functions 10
-Geometry 10
-Analytical Geometry 10
-Integrals 9
-etc...
