Which Dual Degree/ or Accelerated Med Program?

Hi guys,
I'm a junior in high school right now, and college is around the corner. I'm trying to look for a dual degree or accelerated med program, abroad or stateside. The thing is, that I want to practice in California, and I found the California Board Approved list and the American University of Antigua isn't on there. I was deciding on Hope Medical Institute, but then I started to hear bad things about it. My grades aren't the greatest (like a hs GPA of 3.7 weighted), and I have not taken the SAT 1, but I've taken an SAT II (Biology) and received a 700.

Any ideas?

Thanks so much.

BTW I live in Cali.

Sorry for the repost but it was in the wrong section

I am a senior in high school applying for the University of Connecticut Combined Medical program (CPiM). I started research (Cell Biology) in January 2009, and I recently co-authored a paper accepted for publication in a journal.

Would it help my chances of being accepted to UConn CPiM if I submit the accepted version of the paper with the application??

I'm a senior in High School and graduating in 2010. So i've been looking at colleges lately, and my main goal is go to into the medical field/become a doctor. I really need assistance for taking the right path, i know so far that to get into med school there are pre-required courses that i need in order to apply. However, i know alot of people who usually graduate with a BS/BA with something related to bio or chem. I want to major in computer engineering and i was thinking if this was a good path?

To take classes and major with a computer engineering degree, then go to med school. I want to know if this will be a hard task, because i dont know if the classes for comp engineering will help benefit me to med school.

What do you guys think? Please help me out.

Hi I was just wondering if I still have a chance of having a career in medicine. I am very interested in being a doctor but my grades are not to great. I messed around the first half of high school and now I'm paying the price. My gpa is a 3.2 but my first quarter of junior year I got a 3.8. Just wondering if I still got a shot if I get my grades up.

Thanks
