I applied to Notre Dame regular desicion but had all my stuff in before the Early Action deadline. I decided not to do early action because someone told me that a 32 ACT score wouldnt really be considered for early action. Now i realized that with my EC's essays and ACT that i probably would. Do you think it would be possible to call and have them consider me for early action. I already called but the counselor has been busying reviewing applications so im sure it will be until next week until i hear word. Long story short i want to find out if i get in or not by christmas and not have to scramble in april.

Thanks

Hey guys I'm a student from Texas and I still haven't received the letter from ND that says that they have received all of my materials for EA. When should I expect to get this? Will they contact me in time if I happened to be missing a part of the application? Should I contact ND?

Thanks!

really would like to be accepted to Notre Dame and I would like to get opinion on my chances.
I go to a good private Christian High School in Ohio.
top 10% in a class of 56.
30 on the ACT and a cumulative GPA of 4.1/4.0.
Instead of AP Classes my school offers PSEO classes which are offered by a local university where I recieve high-school and college credit for one class.
With PSEO I have taken Speech, Western Civilization, Government and Physics.
Of the three AP classes my school offers, AP Calculus is the only I have taken Not sure on score.
Recieved Math Medal award
EC's
four years football (one year Varsity)
one year varsity weightlifting
four years baseball (one year varsity)
named "most improved" in football and weightlifting (demonstrates work ethic)
Student Council-2 years
NHS member-2 & NHS president-senior year

Community Service
very involved in my home Catholic church
Server-2 years
Lector-1 year
President of Youth Council- 1 year
a lot of volunteer work ex. Habitat for Humanity, Soup Kitchen, high school leader of camps

My essay and reconmendations are good.
With my resume what are my chances of acceptance?

notre dame transfer chances

Hey guys!

im looking to transfer into notre dame for my sophomore year. what are my chances of getting in??

*white, female

High School
1. 3.6 GPA (unweighted)
2. SAT 2000
3. Went to a catholic college prep school (big feeder into ND)
4. 10 extracirricular activites including but not limited to National Honor Society, the music department (large involvement- band, choir, musical, etc.), leadership postions in ministry and nominated part of the leadership team and swim team
5. great recommedations
6. applied to notre dame- got denied (this was understandable, my GPA was low)

College
1. 3.9 GPA
2. catholic college
3. part of hall government (leadership position), again very involved in music (band, choir)
4. major foreseeable problem = i will not have the recommended Calc II and Chem II courses the university suggests. this is because im taking music classes and wasnt able to fit calc amd chem in 1st semester. (i have talked to an admissions counselor about this and she said the may admit me on a contingency that i take the courses over the summer before entering ND)

thanks!! any and all help is appreciated
