so in the spring of my junior year i took the act plus writing and scored a 30 with a 9 essay... this october, i took the act again and got a 33 but i did not do the writing section.... all of the schools that i am applying to require the act+writing.... will they discard my 33 because it was not an act+writing test? or will they just use my essay score from the first test and combine it with my higher score?

Can anyone suggest what are the best prep books for ACT?
I have already finished the Real Prep Guide and PR Cracking the ACT, but I still want to further enhance my skills.
I appreciate any suggestions.
