Medical Schools for Grinnell Graduates

I'm interested in studying medicine post-college especially at JHU or Penn. JHU med school is most competitive and tends to accept a lot of its own undergraduates and students from well known institutions.

I want to apply to Grinnell, but I was wondering if Grinnell had enough name recognition with top medical schools. I know Grinnell students are very successful with graduate schools, but how many are accepted to top northeastern med schools?

i'm taking the sats on december 5th and i was wondering if i have to "rush" my scores? all the schools i'm applying to, except one, have deadlines in early jan so would i have to rush my scores to ALL schools?
grinnell is my first choice (i'm applying ed II) and i'm really concerned if my chances of admission will get compromised if i sent my sat scores last minute w/o the "rush" option?

Should I Apply??? Last chance!

A few weeks ago I decided that I wanted my "reach" school to be Smith, but now I wonder if I should apply to Grinnell too. My academic achievements are lacking because of my disability, but I have good writing skills and an interesting life story.

Standout Factors:
29 ACT composite
35 ACT English
Applicant gives speeches at autism awareness conferences
Applicant is a published poet
Applicant overcame obstacles
Applicant is from Tennessee, an underrepresented state at Grinnell

Application Killers:
Applicant is white
3.3 GPA (upward trend, but still)
no APs
Lots of the credits on applicant's transcripts are for "comprehensive program" (special ed)

What Applicant is Looking For in a College:
Accessible, friendly professors
Financial aid
Undergraduate research opportunities
A liberal-leaning student body
Disability and counseling services
Decent dorms
An unforgettable experience

I have my Common App account and it's my last chance to make a decision. Should I apply to Grinnell?

So I've got an on-campus interview on Friday. From what I've heard on here, in the past interviews have been really laid-back. Is that still true? What sort of things are they going to ask me? Do they do tricky questions?
