I am attending a college in Washington state and about to transfer to UCF next year (if accepted). By the time I get into the school, I will have my A.A degree from my current college (about more than 90 credits). However, I'm wondering how many credits are possibly saved from losing credits since the equivalence between schools is different.

If there's anybody experienced this circumstance, please share with me. How many credits you lost and what are good ways to save as many as possible ??

Thanks a lot

Towers Housing

I am about to apply for housing at UCF and I was wondering what the odds are that I can get into the Towers. I should be in the earlier housing application grouping, so that should help me get one of my top housing preferences right? I am applying for Fall of 2010 and I will be a freshman at that time. Thanks for the help!

UCF Scholarship Notification

Does UCF offer scholarships in their admission letter? I got one from USF and they offer it while they offer you admission, but I heard that for UCF they send a seperate piece of mail if you recieve a scholarship. Is this true? And if so, what is the length of time between the college acceptance to offering a scholarship? Basically how long do I have to wait to be notified if I got any of the Pegasus scholarships after I am accepted? Thanks!

Housing for 2010 is now available..no refunds?

Housing for summer and fall 2010 is now available. In talking to someone in housing by phone, the $250 Fall 2010 deposit is non refundable (summer is $100 i think). My son's two college picks are UCF and UF. UF will not let prospective students know if they are admitted until mid February. If UF turns him down in mid February, and then he applies for housing at UCF, he probably won't get his first picks. Do we just suck it up and pay the $250, to guarantee the housing spot, and if he decides on UF, we kiss our money goodbye? What do you think? UF only asks $30 to secure a housing spot...I think $250 is a bit much.

Should I graduate early from HS? (UCF first choice)

Hi, I'm new to CG Confidentials. I'm currently a sophomore in high school and I'm seriously thinking about attending UCF. I know, crazy right? I haven't even taken the SAT or the ACT. Well the thing is, I'm in the process of starting my college career quite early. Over the last few days, I've tentatively discovered online resources that would give me the opportunity to graduate early from high school. I'm currently class of 2012 but is supposed to be class of 2011. I kinda failed 7th. And here's the situation. The school county I live in has a online "virtual" school (registered and legally approved by the state), and it has all my required courses for junior year and if I were to take some or all of them now, and pass them all by the end of the summer and pass this year, I would officially be bumped up to "senior" status next fall like I technically am suppose to be anyway. So all my test and applications for colleges would be done that year.

UCF is my first choice school. The other univerisities in FL have nothing good to offer me. I've been obsessing and doing countless research on the school and what to expect. The thing is, I haven't taken the SATs or the ACT yet and I have no idea what score is good or looks good to UCF and what do I have to do to get in with them. Like really "in". Something solid that would guranteed me of interest to them.

I read some stories here on CC about UCF students with high GPAs getting deferred because of average to below average SAT scores so that's what is worrying me. So please let me know what you think and what I should do before I apply. Thanks.
