Ok, I have narrowed my choices to these 3 universities for my future career in Computer Science/Software Engineering:

Cal POLY SLO, UC DAVIS and San Jose State

Which one do you think is the best choice academically? (Do students from Cal Poly get hired more easily then SJS or get paid etc.)

Please be specific, thanks!

Print Preview Fine, But Printing Essay Creates Weird Symbols! HELP!

On my print preview my essay looks perfectly fine.
However, once I actually print it out, punctuation such as quotation marks are cut off or transformed into question marks. Also, letters are randomly cut off.
Does anyone else have similar problems?
I'm concerned that the schools will print it out and get the same result!

How to format my addition information?

Hi, I am wondering if there are any suggestions on formatting my additional information essay!? My sophomore grades are horrible dropping to a 2.9 from a perfect 4.0

I am not sure whether to make it more story-like similar to my other essays or to make it just the facts. My parents had kicked me out of the house for being gay during my sophomore year. I just hope if I write it just factual that the depth and actual hardship of the event will be moot.

Thanks for any suggestions

Common Common App Problem?!?

Alright, I just realize that my extracurricular activity descriptions get really cut off in the print preview of the Common App. If I'm sending them all online and the descriptions (obviously) fit into the allowed character space, should I worry that some/all schools won't see all the information? Why does the form even allow you to type past what the printed page allows? What do most schools actually see?
