I am filling out the FAFSA for the first time and have not seen the questions relating to full or part time status or the drug question. Not a problem for my son, but was concerned I was missing some important questions and called the FAFSA site.
The first rep seemed very concerned and told me where to find the questions on the screen but they were not appearing on mine. I told him I would try another browser (although mine was supported) and call back. Still no luck on another browser.
I called back and got another agent that was not concerned and kept saying we could add the answers in later when we file our final taxes. He was not the least bit concerned and said it was probably due to skip logic. I don't know what skip logic would pass over the full or part time question, and he couldn't answer. He had no intention of reporting this as an issue and basically told me to get over it.
So, should I submit the form without having answered the full or part time question or is this going to cause trouble? Can anyone else see these questions on the online form?
