(Thanks for the correction on Missouri State - I have updated the entry to indicate the automatic award rather than the higher competitive award.)

Updated comprehensive list sorted by state.

I have also attempted to calculate the residual cost of attendance (COA) given the scholarship award. NOTE, however, that this was calculated based on each individual college’s published Cost of Attendance, and these estimates may vary in how they are calculated and what costs are included.

The tuition is $33K/year, so this only amounts to 1/3 tuition - not really the point of this thread. Suggest adding to this one instead:

A few are...not all. You'd have to look at each school's website.

I know that Alabama's offers ARE available to int'ls.....BUT....you have to get ACCEPTED by Dec 1st....so that means that you need to fill out the apps (school and scholarship) early in the app season so that your app can be processed and you can be accepted. Int'l acceptances can take a bit longer so apply shortly after the apps go online in early July. This isn't EA or ED...it's rolling admissions, but since you're an int'l, you need to apply early.

I appreciate the hard work put into putting this list together. Really, fantastic job Bob! (and all the contributors to this thread, of course)

Perhaps a moderator could put the final list in the original post? That would be more convenient for new members.

I'm wondering if Miami U should be removed. The full tuition scholarship is not automatic. A student could have the listed required stats, yet only get half tuition.

Since the point of the list is to include schools/merit that provides assurance that if you apply to a particular school with the listed required stats then you're ASSURED that you'll get the full tuition (or more) scholarship.

Also....be aware that some/many of these schools have deadlines for these scholarships. Often the deadlines are in November or December, so apply early and have your financial safety in your pocket right away.

You are probably right about Miami. If you only got the minimum (half tuition), the COA would be >$30K.

UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS At MONTICELLO

Tuition, fees for 18 hours, residence assignment and board for a maximum of eight continuous semesters. Out-of-state tuition is waived.

Requires 30 ACT composite, and rank in the top 10% of graduating class with 3.00 high school GPA, or selection as a National Merit or Achievement finalist.

Thanks for creating this list!! It's striking that there's nothing in the northeast at all on the list. (Looking for a financial safety close to home and coming up empty for four-year schools offering accredited engineering programs.) That certainly agrees with what we have been discovering about the schools in the area, but I was hoping to find some hidden gem on here ;-)

IUPUI covers @30 hours annually (basically full tuition) an automatic acceptance into their Honors College with 3.75 UW GPA and either a 27 ACT/1250(CR+M)SAT. Additional auto money for valedicatorians.

Regarding IUPUI - is that in-state only? Reading the website it looked like the maximum OOS award was less than half of tuition.

I have kind of been ignoring in-state only awards, because there are a lot of them and they are obviously of more limited interest.
