accredited engineering programs, great honors colleges, 5th year masters, also honors track for engineering.

Re: Pitt's admissions merit scholarships. When my nephew applied for this coming school year, he was told merit scholarship recipients had to be in top 5% class rank.

As we've recently learned in another thread, YES, students need to be in the top few % of class rank....and need 1500+ M+CR SAT to get free tuition now...and it's not assured.


Entomom rec'd this communication from UPitt when the school was asked if her D could get full tuition....

Students receiving the full tuition award have an ‘A’ average in a demanding curriculum (just like you), a top two percent class rank (just like you), and an average SAT score of 1560 (math and critical reading scores only) or 35 ACT composite score
