comparison of utsa and trinity university's financial aid?

i'm only going to apply to one of the two, so i'm wondering which would be more likely to give more in scholarship monies! obviously trinity is the better quality university but i think they're both good and i know a bunch of people at utsa actually and i know i'd be much more above average there than at trinity..
my sat es
math 700 reading 780 writing 780
weighted gpa 4.5 class rank 'third decile' unweighted gpa 3.9
and i'll be most likely depending on solely merit aid, i won't be getting any need-based probably

If I were you, I would visit the FA pages of those two schools. I know that TU gives a handful of full tuition scholarships each year, but even getting one of those, you would still have r/b. My daughter graduated last year. It's a wonderful place.

And, FYI, TU will recalculate your GPA, removing all non-academic courses and unweighting all others, so any GPA you post here will likely be different for them.

Also, do the calculator thing on the site. That will give you an idea of what you can expect to pay/year.

Good Luck.
