Denver Bound and honors at CU Denver

Does anyone know someone who is on the "Denver Bound" scholarship? I am out of state with a 4.2 gpa, 28 act, some ECs (mostly leadership roles) and my essay is pretty good. What is the likelihood of my recieving that scholarship and getting into the honors college?

I know without a doubt that I will get into University of COlorado Denver because my stats are so high compared to the average, but I couldn't find anything about statistics of those who were admitted to the honors program. Thanks!

I know a number of students who go there, but none are on the scholarship. The city of Denver is a wonderful one and the college has excellent academic resources.

As to odds of getting the scholarship and getting into thehonors college, it is doubtful to find anyone who knows, even if they are in the program themselves, and it is a small enough program that the likelihood of anyone here on this board knowing anything about it is small. DO post on the CU board. Even if most of the talk is on the Boulder campus, there is certainly overlap between the two schools, particularly in admissions and programs. My friend's son who is at the Denver campus started out at Boulder and transferred for a program that is not offered at Boulder. It seems to me that your chances of getting into the honors college would be pretty good, but you can call there and ask those running the program about that.

As for ANY scholarship, it is so difficult to say, even when one knows the award system well.
