Pls hope my GPA is okay for a scholarship. Maybe I'm going to rewrite the ACT by April. I know that 36 is a nice score but what score should I work towards?

Antioch is a school that has been having severe financial problems. They are not likely to be interested in funding a high need international student is my take on it. You ask what score you should work towards? Well, perfect of course. The higher your score, the better your chances. I suggest you work with what you haEve right now and you can add a few more options IF your ACT score goes up. But for now get a list of schools that are possibilities with what you have on the table. You can always add.

Antioch is providing full scholarships to all students admitted in 2012, 2013, and 2014 while they restart the college. Costs & Financial Aid - Antioch College

"At this time, Antioch College regrets it cannot accept international students." Application Process - Antioch College

However, those scholarships are excellent resources and great information for this board for those looking to include such options and are non international students. The school is currently not accredited so students cannot get Federal aid and loans to go there.

I have contacted the school and I was told that they cannot provide admissions for international students right now but I want to be sure they offer full need to all admitted students. Thanks for the post. I will work towards a better score maybe a 34 will do.

Antioch does not guarantee to meet full need to al admitted students. They are offering full tuition scholarships to all admitted students right now. International students are excluded at this time. It is not clear how transfer students would be treated.

Very few school guarantee to meet full need for admitted students and those that do almost all define that need. Also many of those schools meet that need with self help. A number of these schools exclude transfer students, international students, students in certain programs or divisions of the school, students accepted from the wait list, students who did not apply for need the first year, and other exclusions.

Depends upon how you are counting 3rd and 4th tier schools. With your scores Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, many of the schools in West Virginia and North and South Dakota will offer full rides, or at least come very close to it.

Hi Hokiesfam;

I would love for you to send me a link to the "full ride" from okstate.edu for very high ACT score.

Thanks.
